Technician at WestCountry Spas LLP (2024-07 – Present)
My duties vary day to day but my main responsibilities are; maintaining and cleaning various types of hot tubs, chemical checks, troubleshooting and fixing faults, as well as the occasional resin repair. I also fix and build the hot tub pumps and deal with customer orders and queries via the phone, email and face to face. I work with chemicals every day and work unsupervised, driving between multiple locations throughout the day.

I worked as an inbound sorter. I dealt with unloading the lorries in the morning and then scanning and sorting the packages for several different tours. During working here I gained experience with Zebra scanners and software and team working skills.
Cleaner at Britannia Service Group (2022-07 – 2023-02)
I was responsible for cleaning the Aldi store in Barnstaple. My duties included cleaning floors, with an industrial floor cleaner, fridges, freezers, tills etc. As well as maintaining the warehouse and staffing areas and customer and staff toilets.

I was a Breakfast chef and my duties included cooking, preparing food, cleaning as well as cooking the occasional lunch dishes.

My current duties involve manufacturing new components for VW vans alongside basic restoration work such as rust repair and body panel repair. I also strip down vehicles and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

I was working as a sous chef in a patisserie café. My day-to-day responsibilities include making tarts and cakes from scratch, cooking hot orders such as croque madam, chocolatier work as well as general kitchen duties. While working at the lift my main responsibilities are to meet and greet customers, giving general information on how the lift runs and works. I also worked in the gift shop, I received till training, and was responsible for selling gifts and confectioneries to customers, re-stocking, and at the same time loading passengers in and out of the carriages. I also helped the maintenance officer with odd jobs from painting, to maintaining the lift.
In addition, I was responsible for opening and closing the lift on my shifts and preparing the lifts/shop areas for customers. I was responsible for cashing up my till and the donations box. As of the 15/11/12 I was given the responsibility of being an official key holder.
Volunteer Warehouse Assistant at PDSA (2012-03 – 2012-03)
I was working for PDSA in the warehouse. I mainly worked with new stock for the shops, sorting out incoming stock as well as going out on home pick-ups and deliveries. I was also responsible for distributing and collecting clothes bags throughout Cornwall. I gained valuable team working skills from here as well as learning how to work with limited time.

I was part of a 10-week work trial as a general mechanic. My day-to-day responsibilities were, general servicing of cars, customer service, general cleaning and service and maintenance of cars for example changing tyres, oil, fixing gaskets etc. During this time, I worked with a team of people but also did some unsupervised work as well. I gained a lot of experience from this and a more in-depth knowledge of the machinery.

I worked as a component welder for ship parts. My day-to-day responsibilities were welding parts and adhering to health and safety rules. I gained in-depth MIG welding skills.
