I am a hardworking and eager individual with an eye for detail, looking to gain and build on my experience in a laboratory setting.

During my time at the University of Plymouth, I worked towards a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry, developing strong analytical and problem-solving skills through rigorous coursework and research. My Final-year Project on the Photodegradation of Paracetamol in various water matrices earned a First-Class grade, showcasing my ability to design experiments, analyse complex data and draw meaningful conclusions.

Additionally, my First-Class physical chemistry coursework which looked at Analysis of Pore Structure by Mercury Intrusion Porosimetry, highlighted my proficiency in applying theoretical concepts to practical problems, helping strengthen my critical thinking and data interpretation skills.

Beyond Academia, I worked as Domestic Assistant for Wray Common Nursing and Residential Home, I honed essential interpersonal and professional skills while maintaining high standards during challenging times. My role involved regular interaction with residents and staff, enhancing my customer service skills, communication and empathetic skills to ensure a supportive environment. I excelled in teamwork to maintain a clean and safe facility, while also demonstrating independence by managing unsupervised tasks efficiently.

Outside of work and study, I am passionate about fitness and food. At the gym, I thrive on setting goals and pushing my limits, a discipline that fuels my resilience in tackling complex projects. My love for food, whether experimenting with new recipes or exploring nutritional science-sharpens my creativity and attention to detail, qualities I bring to precise laboratory work or customer-focused roles. These passions of mine, reflect my commitment for continuous growth.

I am eager to launch my career in a laboratory-based, customer service or administrative role where I can leverage my BSc (Hons) Chemistry degree to apply my strong analytical thinking and data interpretation skills.
