I am an eager and motivated individual who is enthusiastic about pursuing a career in the automotive/motor vehicle industry. Since childhood, I've had a fascination for fixing and mending things. Whether it's repairing household appliances like the broken belt on the tumble dryer or addressing more complex issues such as the cracked motor pinion on a commercial electronic potato peeler at my workplace, I've always enjoyed diving into mechanical challenges.
Recently, I've extended my skills to servicing a variety of my family's vehicles. From changing brake pads and a seized caliper on my uncle's Vauxhall Astra to tackling more intricate tasks like replacing leaking coolant hoses on a Corsa VXR, I've embraced each opportunity to learn and grow. Most notably, I undertook the daunting task of removing and rebuilding an entire engine on my brother's 1L EcoBoost.
This involved replacing components such as the head gasket, wet belt, turbo, and performing a partial engine rebuild by replacing rod bearings and crankshaft bearings. Despite the complexity of the task, I approached it with enthusiasm and dedication, further solidifying my passion for automotive repair. This passion for repairing and servicing vehicles has driven me to pursue a professional role as a service technician.
I find great fulfillment in the intricacies of automotive repair, and I am eager to deepen my knowledge in a professional setting. With a natural problem-solving mindset and extensive experience in maintenance and repairs, I am confident that I would be a valuable addition to your team.
