During this period, I worked as a Senior Merchandising Manager within the Made to Measure team at TAL Apparel Limited, a clothing company based in Hong Kong. My main duties and responsibilities included:
- Increasing sales by promoting the Made to Measure (MTM) service, a new business channel, to both existing and new clients (business development responsibilities).
- Negotiating commercial terms and conditions with new customers, together with the legal team
- Cross-selling 8 types of garment products to existing MTM customer for suits, outerwear, and knits.
- Visiting overseas factories across 4 different countries (Thailand, Vietnam, Mainland China and Malaysia) with our customers to show them the development and process of their product.
- Managing and leading a team of 3 merchandisers.
