Since joining Kwik Fit, I have quickly gained a strong understanding and practical knowledge of tyre fitting, tyre repairs, VHC and TMPS. I can communicate with customers effectively and can confidently advise customers on what solutions will best meet their needs. I can work effectively within a team setting but I am also comfortable working independently as per the needs of the business.
I understand the importance of keeping a tidy work area and ensuring things are stored efficiently for ease of access and use. I have begun the theoretical learning for brake systems and wheel alignments however, I have not yet had the chance to apply the knowledge in a practical setting. This is something I am very keen to get involved with as well as the other mechanical aspects such as exhaust and suspension.
I am a confident and competent worker with an eagerness to learn and become a valued member of the team.

During my time at Tesco, I have developed a strong understanding of customer service, inventory management and stock distribution.
Lead duties have included overseeing staff, training new employees and supporting their continuous development as well as performance management. I assigned the team their shift duties and ensured work was efficiently allocated and the store was kept clean and organised. I was responsible for balancing the tills at the end of the night and ensuring everything was accounted for properly. I had an understanding of the store's performance and understood my role in helping to drive service and sales, reduce waste and shrink and deliver profit. I have worked across the store in various departments picking and replenishing area where required. I have gained a wealth of experience and knowledge during my time and have learned to be adaptable to any situation.
