My name is Glenn Thomas I am currently working at Jazz Pharmaceuticals as PCS7 Engineer in a contract position. My interest outside of work include swimming, RC aircraft and supporting my local football team. I am currently seeking a new challenge as PCS7 Automation engineer overseas.

Working on the control system upgrade from Allen Bradley to Siemens PCS7 V9.1.SP2.
Creating of the FDS, Phase and Unit detailed design description documentation.
Design and writing of PCS7 software charts and SFC’s for Batch control also Safety Matrix and WinCC configuration from the User requirement specification and Unit detailed
Design specification documents. Conducting the FAT and SAT for the project by using
Simit Simulation software.
The Projects included Dynamic flow filters and Decarboxylation agitated pans.
The validation of the control system was carried out using QTest software, this includes writing the test designs and test executions for FAT and SAT.

Siemens service contracts which were from Petrochemical and Pharmaceutical Industries.
Experienced with Siemens DCS systems PCS7 V6.1 to V10.0 with Simatic Batch,
Route Control, Safety Matrix, Logic Matrix and Process Historian and Domain controllers.
Include Siemens standalone PLC’s and SCADA systems, Step 7 and TIA portal V11 to V19 and
WinCC. Implementation of PDM integrated or standalone. Having commissioned several

I am also responsible for several service contracts in UK and abroad for companies including
Siemens, Rolls Royce and Total.
