About

Experienced and compassionate healthcare professional with over five years' experience across health and social care, currently working as a band 3 senior healthcare support worker within Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

Experienced in working with vulnerable patients within a demanding acute healthcare environment, with strong transferable skills in patient engagement, communication, accurate documentation, confidentiality, safeguarding, multidisciplinary working and following clinical procedures

Having completed a certificate in Good Clinical Practice GCP has strenghtened my understanding of ethical practice, participant safety, confidentiality, informed consent, research governance and the importance of maintaining the integrity of research processes.

I am now seeking to transition my extensive frontline healthcare experience into clinical research. I am particularly interested in participant-facing research where effective communication, empathy, accurate data collection, and engagement with vulnerable populations are essential. I would bring a strong understanding of the NHS environment and the lived experience of patients, together with a genuine commitment to evidence-based healthcare and research that can improve outcomes for individuals and communities.
