Dental Nurse in Petersfield (2023-03 – Present)
I have worked as a trainee dental nurse from march 2023 now with my qualifying exams coming up in November, I really enjoy this job, and love learning everything teeth related. I work along side assisting the Hygienist, dentist and oral surgeon - working with the oral surgeon means now I know how to set up a sterile room, alongside day to day decontamination. I work well under stress and at a fast pace rate.
I mainly work with two dentists throughout the week and a hygienist once a week with the oral surgeon once every two weeks. This has allowed me to adapt to different clinicians ways of working and have a wider understanding of different ways of working. I know how to comfort a patients and help them relax and keep calm when they are nervous as the dentist isn't anyone's favourite place to be.
Barista/Key Holder at Wagtail coffee & yoga (2021-01 – 2023-03)
I have worked at Wagtail coffee and yoga since the end of august 2021. My position is a barista and key holder. This includes doing the ordering at the end of the day/shift. Helping train new employees with their coffee skills. opening up and closing the cafe.
Bartender at Giggling Squid (2020-01 – 2021-12)
I've also previously worked at Giggling Squid since the beginning of September as a bartender, I thoroughly love working here as the atmosphere is so loving and welcoming. I've taken the skills that I have learnt from my preserves jobs and applied them working here. One of my favourite parts of being a bartender is talking to the customers and making sure they have the best experience they can dining at Giggling Squid.

I've previously worked at the Nags Head Public House in Chichester since November 2017, for this role I was able to take the skills I learnt from the previous role and build upon them. New skills I learnt included bar work with alcohol, closing the restaurant as well as handling bookings for the restaurant and the bed and breakfast. By working here it also allowed me to develop my customer service and communication skills further.
Server at Lanes End Cafe (2016-01 – 2017-12)
This role was primarily interacting with the public serving and ensuring customer satisfaction. However it also included setting up before opening and assisting with the kitchen when necessary, this included learning how to handle food cleanly and safely as well as keeping a clean working environment.
