Grace Farrelly

I am currently a year 11 student at Plantsbrook School, Sutton Coldfield and due to complete my GCSE's in June 2026. I am a hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated individual. I have studied diligently for these exams, managing my time in a suitable manner.

This has allowed me to continue to indulge in my passion for reading and baking. I am also a member of a local drama club and have performed in a number of productions, which has enabled me to develop my confidence and public speaking skills. I have also completed my Duke Of Edinburgh bronze award, which involved amongst other things volunteering at a local after school club.

I am a sociable person who enjoys meeting others and building positive relationships.

Kennel Assistant - The Lodge Veterinary Centre

(2025-07 - 2025-09)

This role gave me the experience of working in a small business and helped me understand how these operate daily. I also became aware of the importance of punctuality and presenting myself in a suitable manner, especially when interacting with members of the public.

• Aiding Veterinary nurses in re-stocking consulting rooms.
• Cleaning kennel areas, waiting rooms and consulting rooms.
• Maintaining the laundry area i.e collecting dirty bedding, towels, and uniform.
• Sweeping and keeping the car park in patient areas.
• Answering the telephone at busy times and directing calls to more experienced colleagues.
