I am a reliable, hard-working, and trustworthy individual. With a wealth of experience working in high-demand hospitality settings, I thrive in fast-paced environments, remaining calm and composed under pressure. My adaptable nature and quick learning abilities enable me to tackle new challenges with confidence.
I am seeking a workplace to enable me to expand my knowledge and continue to develop relevant skills in the field of psychology.
I have six years of hospitality experience, alongside my studies. I began as a waitress, where I learned valuable multitasking skills. Moving up to Supervisor at The Terrace Yarmouth, I embraced flexibility and teamwork while coordinating our staff.
As a Bartender at Bills, I managed inventory and collaborated effectively with my colleagues. Now, as Bar Manager back at The Terrace Yarmouth, I lead all bar operations, conduct staff training, and ensure seamless service, drawing on my strong leadership and crisis management abilities.
At the University of Bath, I pursued a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS). Throughout my studies, I engaged with a range of relevant units, including an exploration of contemporary educational psychology and clinical psychology, where I achieved grades of 70 and 65, respectively. Additionally, I conducted a dissertation examining the influence of gender and social context on pain recognition, awaiting grading.
My coursework further delved into topics such as autism spectrum disorders, forensic psychology, and the psychology of addictive behaviors, providing me with a diverse skill set and theoretical foundation. Prior to university, I excelled in my A-levels at Peter Symonds College, Winchester, achieving A*, A*, A grades in Psychology, Mathematics, and Biology. My academic journey began with GCSEs at St Swithun's, Winchester, where I attained a range of grades from 6 to 9, including Mathematics (grade 9) and English (grade 7).
