Grace Ratley

I am a passionate and motivated individual who has spent the last 5 years working in the financial sector for a local wealth management company as their client liaison. The role encompassed many responsibilites that appealed to my strengths; interaction with clients, organizational skills, the ability to work independently and also within a team and also the ability to learn and grow. It was a fast paced environment which required the ability to be dynamic and forward thinking, a situation in which I have a tendency to thrive.

My sole reason for leaving was to pursue my interests in theology and religion annd undertaking a degree at Exeter University which commences in September 2024. I have a keen interest in exploring the views of others and my compassionate nature lends itself well to respecting and valuing the breadth of opinions that can be found when discussing such topics.

I appreciate that my degree will take up much of my time, but I am a hardworking and independent single mother of two who still has the drive and determination to make a part-time role work alongside this. I am fully prepared to give 110% in both directions.

To be able to undertake a role that makes a difference to people, whilst also harnessing my personal strengths is a job I’d love to dive into. Given the opportunity, I feel I’d excel at office based work that gives me the opportunity to interact with people and represent the business or organization.

In my spare time you’ll find me with a book in hand or out exploring our beautiful local coast lines with my daughters. Socializing is also important to me and I’m very family-focussed.
