I enjoy working as a pro-active member of a team and can also work independently when following clear instructions. Volunteer - British Heart Foundation

(2021-06)

I have been volunteering for a local Charity shop as additional help within the store room to sort through donations. I am responsible for going through electronic donations such as DVD's and CD's, pricing them and displaying them on shelves correctly. I also take clothing that has not been sold from the shop floor, we steam and press the items to be sent to another charity shop to see if they can be sold.

Café Assistant - Turning Heads Programme

I completed a work placement with a community centre to help build my confidence and customer service skills. I would receive orders in the kitchen and make the required hot or cold drinks as well as plating any sandwiches or cakes and serving them to customers in the Café area.

Catering Assistant - No Limits Café

(2022-02 - 2022-03)

I was employed by No Limits Café for a work experience placement to assist in the running of the café that was open to the public. I was responsible for greeting customers and showing them to a table as well as taking orders and noting any dietary requirements. I would then put the order through the till to be sent to the kitchen and would also serve the customers food to them. I developed good knowledge of Health and Safety in the work place.

Waitress - Café No 3

Working for a local Café I was trained to use the till to process orders and take payments via cash and card. I would collect the food from the kitchen and take it to the customers table. I developed an awareness of allergies and dietary requirements so this could be noted when taking customers orders.

Café Assistant - Lions Monacle Café

I gained work experience at a Café to develop my professional work ethics regarding social communication and delivering customer service. I was required to clear the tables promptly after customers had left, wipe the tables down and replenish any condiments or cutlery.

Café Assistant - Mare & Foal Sanctuary

(2017-01 - 2017-12)

My responsibilities working for a charity run café were to clear tables and stack crockery and cutlery in the dishwasher, I would then put the cleaning products into the washer when it was full and turn it on so that crockery could be replenished for the kitchen to use.
