I worked evening shifts which are mostly 2-12. I take bookings and I help set up for service which includes, setting up the restaurant, making sure all the sauces are topped up and the glasses on the tables are clean as well as polishing cutlery. I also work in the restaurant which includes taking orders which I enjoy as I love interacting with people and also asking where they are going on holiday, I'm trusted to take bills.
I also run the food, I am quick and efficient which makes this job a little easier and I learn the menu and tables fast. I also have experience on the bar, I am able to take orders and make drinks on a busy shift

This was my first job since moving to Manchester, I was trained to make coffees on a proper machine which I didn't know how to do before, I also worked on the till serving customers other drinks such as iced coffees, hot chocolates and juices. I also took food orders and made items off the menu such as making bagels.
Front of House Staff - The White Swan Hotel - Stratford-upon-Avon

I waitress, housekeep and work on reception at a busy hotel in Stratford 5 days a week. Whilst working front of house I only recently started bar training the last few weeks of being there. I took bookings, seated and showed people to their tables, took orders, delivered and cleared the food.
I cleaned glasses in the pub and wiped tables and took bills as well. I helped out with housekeeping when needed, this included changing and making beds for the people's stay. On reception I would keep the desk occupied whilst the receptionist was away, this included me helping any visitors with bookings or questions about the hotel.
I loved my team here, I left due to university, I go back and still pick up a few shifts when home for a long period of time.
Waitress - The Countess of Evesham - Stratford-upon-Avon

This was a restaurant was based on a boat on the River Avon in Stratford. The boat would sail down the river which people enjoyed their food and got to stop off halfway down the river to get off and feed the swans and ducks. I was a waitress where I would take orders, serve food, socialise with customers and at the end of the night clear plates and glasses.

I was a waitress where I spoke to customers took orders and served food, drink etc. Aswell as this I was a host at Carluccios' where I would take bookings and greet people at the door then show them to their table

I went for a trail where I served food, took orders and was able to socialise with the customers. I enjoyed this so much but sadly due to lockdown I didn't manage to get the job.

Responsibility's included showing guests to their room, serving breakfast and evening meals, advising customers on activities within the town and taking payments on departure. This B&B is in the centre of Stratford and due to it being a family business I was working there from a very early age doing what I could to help out.
