Mobile Tyre Fitter at Glasgow Mobile Tyres (2017-01 – 2022-01)
Having proven experience in the tyre fitting industry gained working within the garage this led to my preferred position on the road. This providing the same service learned "in house" to customers at the roadside, their homes and or businesses. I also gained the reflex qualification which enables myself to work safely attending motorway breakdowns on behalf of the RAC and AA.
- Following guidelines of the highway standard and ensuring safety of all road users including myself.

- Planning routes in order to complete the job in the most timely and productive manner.

Tyre Fitter (Supervisor) at Tyres B Wise (2010-01 – 2017-01)
Working within a small local tyre company, I deputised for the owner/manager as and when required ensuring the depot is managed and run smoothly. The day to day running of the garage operation entails:
- Identifying worn or faulty components and advising customers of any work required.
- Removing and refitting any components and carrying out any tyre related adjustments in accordance with technical standards.
- Dealing with telephone enquiries and communicating with customers in a professional manner.
- Stock ordering, control and stock taking.
- Training junior apprentices, on job within the depot.
- Customer payments and cash handling.
- Managing the depot in the absence of the owner.
