I am a very approachable, dedicated and hardworking person. I currently work in Specsavers Maesteg on a Saturday whilst I am in college studying Sports Coaching level 3. I pre-test children and adults of all age range, make them comfortable and feel at ease while I undertake the testing of their eyes which can be challenging as they are nervous and unsure.

I am patient and use calming techniques to put them at ease. I also have further experience working with children in a sports environment. I am an active member for Allstars Gymnastics and train 4 times a week, I have represented my Country in the British finals.

I support coaching children from age 3 -14 with specific routines making sure of health and safety in the area.

Saturday Role while Studying

• Meet and greet customers
• Advise on different styles of glasses and promotions that are available
• Use various communication methods to remind customers of appointments and to amend or change appointments via telephone, email or in person
• Operate cash tills and take payments from customers for goods purchased including cash and credit/debit card
• Keep the store clean and tidy

Customer Assistant - Marks and Spencer

Initially my role was to replenish stock during the very busy festive season, due to my proactiveness and customer awareness I was moved to the tills/customer service. Quickly picking up all activities in this area I progressed to mentor new starters and supported in the ability to multitask all skills. Once the seasonal role ended, I was approached to move to the Bridgend Clothing store where I worked in the clothing area.

• Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and approachable manner
• Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products
• Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for
• Multitask within the store undertaking till work and stock rotation
