Within my working career I have gained a good knowledge of different types of machines and tools and working to tight tolerances with all types of measuring equipment. I have developed myself to be meticulous with my work to ensure a very high standard. In my current role as setter operator of pressbrakes I regularly liaise with manufacturing engineers to solve issues regarding products, tooling and fixtures.
I have therefore built good communication skills and confidence in directing my ideas. I am confident with my communication skills in taking my ideas and presenting them to manufacturing engineers and other colleagues. I Currently take responsibility for maintaining a high standard of quality and conformity of the work produced within Sheet Metal Working to complexed assembly aviation assembly procedures.
Also work day to day on continuous improvements. I am computer literate and have a good understanding of MS applications and lotus Notes. I am flexible with different shift patterns, and willing to undertake tasks and achieve the expected outcome.
