• Creativity – finding imaginative ways of keeping the child entertained, using positive language, use of reward systems, though considering the child's autism and ADHD to adapt to their needs and keeping things quick and simple so as not to lose the attention of the child.
• Decision making – when in public settings, having to make quick and difficult decisions for the safety of the child – such as impulsive decisions the child may make, requiring a prompt response taking into consideration the health and wellbeing of the child and members of the public.
