I completed a PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of Liverpool in 2024, following an MRes (Distinction) and a First-Class BSc in Biological and Medical Sciences. My PhD project investigated PARP9/DTX3L and PARP14 in head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC), focusing on replication stress and radiation response. My work demonstrated enhanced radiosensitivity and hydroxyurea sensitivity following PARP9/14 depletion in these cell lines, using 2D and 3D spheroid models derived from CRISPR-Cas9 knockout clones.
I am now seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate position to apply my expertise in replication stress and DNA damage response to ovarian cancer research. I am eager to develop expertise in state-of-the-art techniques, including Nanopore sequencing and cell barcoding, to map stress-response pathways in ovarian cancer.
