I completed an apprenticeship and qualified as a dental nurse Sep 2024, at a 95% based private practice in Clitheroe. I was working here Monday to Friday, and i have gained a level 3 extended diploma in dental nursing. My duties as a dental nurse vary, and can include assisting the dentist which means always thinking one step ahead.

Sometimes I will be on reception, carefully taking payments (and giving the correct change if necessary) or booking appointments for patients. I also have to pick up calls from patients and make calls to some third parties (e.g dental labs) to communicate effectively regarding the patients best interests. I also ensure that patients medical records are kept up to date each visit.

I have exceptional cross infection skills, and I am confident in speaking to any patients and making them feel comfortable at their time at the dentist.
