Haneen Akbari

Hello, I'm Haneen Akbari. I hold an undergraduate degree in Journalism, Media & Film from the University of Stirling, and I'm on track to complete my master's degree in November. I am actively seeking employment opportunities in the fields of Journalism, Media, or Film. My passion for this work fuels my enthusiasm, and I am committed to delivering exceptional results.

I initiated my professional journey at the age of 14, teaching young children the art of swimming at my mother's swim institute. Through this experience, I cultivated a strong sense of responsibility, refined my teaching skills, and recognized the importance of each lesson. Growing up simultaneously in Pakistan and Bahrain exposed me to diverse cultures and opportunities, fostering adaptability and setting me apart from my peers.

In contrast, my summers in Bahrain saw me delve into the world of modeling for Niv Cosmetics, taking charge of the company's social media presence, and designing a logo for NS Design. Subsequently, I assumed the role of a marketing officer at NS, a position I continue to contribute to when my schedule permits.

After a couple of years, my passion for writing emerged, leading to a valuable internship at Business Plus. This experience ignited my love and talent for journalism, ultimately motivating me to enroll at Stirling University, where I acquired the essential skills for a successful career in journalism. Throughout my university journey, I seized various opportunities that have molded me into the professional I am today, and I'm on track to graduate in June.
