Hannah Belfield

With my wider interest in team sports, I have always been able to work with other people. Being part of a well-established club Newcastle Town Netball has helped me build on social skills. These skills have given me the chance to communicate with other people and develop good relationships with students as well as parents.

With my creative background, I always find ways to think outside the box, and what works well for certain students. I thrive on a challenge and I am not afraid to take on different roles. During my 7 years as a teacher, I have been able to achieve the highest of standards.

I have contributed wholeheartedly to the ethos of The Discovery Academy. I have developed an excellent range of strategies to facilitate the understanding of and meeting the needs of children. Responsibility and professionalism are of the utmost importance in my classroom practice.
