Hannah Carthew

A young, driven and imaginative designer taking a gap year from study to work and travel Europe, with these life lessons and experiences informing her multidisciplinary design process.

I feel confident in applying my creative skills in a professional setting. I am a junior-level designer with experience in paid free-lance work and with experience in unpaid, collaborative projects. Additionally, I have experience within the hospitality industry, with duties of both a waitress and hostess, the retail industry as a sales representative, and administration skills gained from employment as a front-office receptionist.

I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Design with the University of New South Wales. UNSW teaches art and design students how to create high-level concepts and how to refine a personalised design-process, where peer feedback is fundamental.
