I am a caring, hardworking and patient individual I am currently completing Btec Extended Foundation Dipolma in Health and social care, Btec Health and Social Care and Btec Child Development. I am a very passionate person especially around supporting childrens wellbeing and development as I had hands on experience in a nursery for my placement as well as volunteering with Yuvanis Foundation Holidays Activities and Food (HAFF) programme. These opportunites has helped me strengthen my communication skills as well as organisation and resilence while allowing children to be healthy, active and engaged during the school holidays.
I am not seeking to have a full time role in childcare where I can support children and their development as well as me expandind these skills even more.
Work experience at Nursery - Ladybirds Nursery Oldham Chadderton - Oldham Chadderton

I did work experience at a Nursery for a week during January 2025, worked since 9:00am to 4:00pm. I helped assist nursery staff in providing care and supervision for children under the age of 3-4 years as i worked around the toddler sections of the nursery. I helped ensure that the children help feel that they are in a safe secure environment where they are able to express themselves positively.
I helped staff plan acitivites such as story time, arts and crafts and outdoor acitities which helps expand children social skills as well as their creativity. I helped support children duing snack time and meal time I helped ensure that children are eating healthy and having good hygiene habits. I encouraged positive behaviour and teamwork through praise, patient and clear information.
I helped set up activites as well as tidying up to help create s safe clean and clear environment where children are able to freely learn this has also showed how organised I am. During my time their I have developed clear and strong communication skills, developed confidence while also supporting children learning and development.
work experience at retail - BOOTS - Oldham Chadderton Elk mill

During year 10 I did work experience at BOOTS for 7 days from 9:00am to 3:00pm. My role their was to ensure customer felt safe and secure when shopping at Boots. I assisted customers in a kind friendly and professional manner.
I used my strong communication skills to help provide support to customers. I listened to the instructions that staff has set to me and I demonstarted them professionally and wisely. I worked effectively as a team to ensure that the shelves were stocked up well and organised and I ensured that the environment was clean.
I helped worked at tills and ensured that transactions working well and effectively and also I demonstrated relaibality. I helped supported customers in areas such as the beauty promotions I ensured customers understood the products they were buying as well as helping them around if they were unsure of any items and I also helped maintain excellent customer service standards. I worked well and adapted a busy environment well and quickly, I multi tasked quick and efficently and repsonded clamly and professsional when dealing with customers needs.

Volunteer - Yuvanis Foundation
(2022-12 - 2025-08)
I Volunteered at Yuvanis Foundation for 4 years to help support a programme which was called HAFF. I helped support children ages 4-13 year old. This in simple terms meant holiday activities and food programmes.
During my time their I helped create fun, engaging and educational activities for children during the school holidays. The aim of this was to empower children creativity skills, confidence and teamwork. I took on leadership skills such as help planing acitivites for the children to play as well as games for children to have fun and look forward to, I was also responsible for my group and ensured that the children felt happy and was able to express themselves freely.
I also ensured that each children didnt feel alone and ensure that everyone socialised. I helped support each children from different backgrounds to help ensure they feel included, confident and sociallly connected. I also helped promote eating healthy and active lifestyles such as the activites we done to support it as well as the food this helped encourage children to make postive choices around the areas of food and exercise.
