• Primarily responsible for screening and recruiting patients to the STOP-D clinical trial investigating depression after traumatic brain injury.
• Progressed to administering mental health screening tools including anxiety and depression questionnaires under observation from a trial surgeon.
• Managed and organised confidential patient information and orchestrated sponsor visits.
• Completed consent competency to allow me to independently consent patients to non-medical trials.
• Regularly observed patient sessions with a Clinical Psychologist specialising in airways and breathing issues.
• Created an informative yet concise poster and in-depth reflection on my year, including professional skills I had developed whilst in a working environment.
