Wellbeing Service Support - St Gregory's Catholic High School

I support the wellbeing of the pastoral staff and safeguarding team, offering individual therapy and wellbeing sessions. I offer staff a safe place to discuss and explore any work or personal concerns that they choose to bring to their sessions. I have also supported their school counsellors in setting up the service within the school.
School Counsellor - Gateacre Secondary school

I set up the counselling service within the school. I offer one to one and group sessions to students aged 11-18. I also offer counselling sessions and support to families and staff members. My role includes regular engagement with multi agency professionals including the school pastoral team and SENCO, along with CAMHS and social services.
During my time at the school, I have worked with a large number of young people with additional needs. I also manage the student counselling placements that we now offer within the school service. This involves collaborating with the local university and overseeing their students alongside writing end of placement reports.
Counsellor and Psychotherapist - Private Counselling and Psychotherapy practice - Hale, Cheshire

Offering private counselling sessions for adults, adolescence and children. I offer sessions in person, over video calls or via the telephone. I work with a number of concerns and when appropriate liaise with other agencies.
I work with clients who have experienced trauma and often clients present with high levels of risk including suicidal ideation and self-harm. When in the best interest of clients I will work alongside other professionals such as Psychiatrists, general practitioners, and crisis teams.
Online Counsellor - Kooth/ Xenzone
Therapeutically supporting young people and adults via an online counselling platform, commissioned by the local authority. The platform offers both email and 'live chat support' where clients can 'drop in' or pre-book sessions. Clients present with a variety of concerns and support includes both single sessions and long-term work.
Approved Therapist - Anxiety UK

Working as an Anxiety UK approved therapist offering both long and short-term counselling to adults referred to me via this service. This can include both face to face and telephone counselling and regular training was attended during my time with the charity.
Therapist - Place 2Be Holy Family school

Providing emotional and therapeutic support to children in schools, helping them to cope with wide-ranging and often complex social issues including bullying, bereavement, attachment, domestic violence, family breakdown, neglect and trauma. Working as part of the pastoral team and leasing with parents and careers was also part of my responsibilities. I offered both art and play therapy with many of the children.
Volunteer Counsellor - NHS McMillan Wellbeing Centre

I worked as a volunteer counsellor for the Wellbeing services at the McMillan Centre, working with both palliative patients and family members on a session-limited basis. This included both individual and family sessions and involved working in conjunction with other professionals within the hospital.
Therapist - PATH Counselling Services - Manchester and Cheshire
Providing therapy sessions in the community for people across Manchester and Cheshire. Clients were referred with a wide variety of concerns for short-term support. The service offered clients 6-8 sessions either in person or online.

Working as a nanny for a family with two girls aged 10 & 11 based in Hale Cheshire. My job involved wrap around school care and full time during the school holidays. I provided a safe and supportive setting for the children to develop and grow.

This was a brand new nursery and I was asked to assistant in the setting up and opening. I stayed here for an initial period as agreed with the owner.
Nursery Nurse - Richmond House Kindergarten

My role as a nursery nurse involved providing the opportunity for each child to progress in both confidence and ability in both individual and group settings. Helping the children to achieve their optimum development and watching them grow in confidence is something I found incredibly rewarding. I was also responsible for development records and tracking progress using observations and activities.
