I am predominantly ward based, assessing new patients on my ward to assist them in regaining their independence and providing exercises for them to complete in their own time before discussing discharge and ensuring they will be able to manage at home either on their own or with care.

I worked at David Lloyd as a sports masseuse to assess and treat members presenting with muscoskeletal injuries. I would assess members presenting with a problem and provide a suitable treatment to help relieve their symptoms, provide suggestions for at home treatment between sessions and continue to adapt as they improved.

Shop floor assistant and delivery driver at Waitrose (2019-03 – 2021-01)

I started working part time at Waitrose at the end of March 2019 where I was originally trained on reductions. After a few weeks my skills were expanded as I was trained on the tills, stock and stock rotation as well as later on working on the bakery counter baking bread making hot drinks such as coffee and serving the sweet treats to customers. In January 2021 I moved from the shop floor and became a delivery driver venturing out onto the roads and delivering straight to customers doors.

I had gained a variety of skills from working on the shop floor as I used to be on the main phone line when customers phoned in helping me gain problem solving skills and initiative, however delivery driving helped me to improve my skills further as I was on my own so had to think fast on my feet in tough situations. My teamwork skills were also improved while driving as we all worked as a team to help each other load to get out on time.

Cafe assistant at Cafe Nova

I have previously worked as a cafe assistant in Cafe Nova for several weeks working closely with the customers as I operated the till taking orders and helping to complete them as well as going out and cleaning the table brining the pots back after wiping the tables and putting them into the dishwasher and then putting them back into the correct places.
