Bartender/Runner at Brooklyn Parlor (2025-11 – 2026-04)
- Assisted in basic translation of English to Japanese with my co-workers when customers would have menu questions or if I was not aware of the information required or when there were allergen questions, and also if any difficulties insured with payment/reservations.
- High Scale clientele: Business Meetings, Anniversary and Wedding Celebrations. Requiring high levels of Honorific Japanese usage.
- Basic Bartending as I was learning the new drinks and cultural differences working in a completely Japanese environment, but also running food/drinks to customers tables.
Bartender at Tokyo Comedy bar (2023-04 – 2025-08)
- Mixed and served cocktails, craft beer and bar food while engaging with local and international customers.
- Supported the running of events in English and Japanese using both to introduce the venue, answer questions, and ensure everyone felt welcomed before the show began.
- Assisted with ticketing to the events and logistics, and gave special care when VIP guests were in attendance.

- Worked during the peak season on a short term contract.
- Supported customers to achieve their language target by thoughtful interactions.
- Engaged in active street-level customer outreach to promote the business and drive foot traffic.
Reception & Tour Guide at British Hills (2022-04 – 2022-06)
- Managed front desk reception duties, guest check-ins, and support services at a British-themed educational resort.
- Gave daily tours around the main Manor house and explained the history of the location of British Hills and the overall culture of the UK.
- Helped represent the English speaking staff presence and contribute to an authentic experience for customers and students alike.
