I have worked on a range of award-winning scripted and unscripted programming, ranging from script editing popular children's drama and working on paid scripted development projects to developing and pitching unscripted programming across factual, fact ent and reality genres for a range of UK broadcasters. I have a particular passion for warm, relatable comedy and drama, talent-led passion projects, and finding amazing new talent and contributors.

• Led a development project for a premium true crime pitch to Disney+ and Netflix: conducting research and access calls, designing the pitch deck using Canva, editing a sizzle using DaVinci Resolve and verbally pitching to commissioners.
• Led brainstorms and offered support to Junior Development APs and Researchers, with my Head of Development encouraging me to take on more of a mentorship role using my previous development experience.

• I developed the pitch, wrote and designed the pitch deck, conducted extensive research and edited casting tapes for 3x60' BBC Two travelogue series Rob Brydon's Honky Tonk Road Trip - the most watched BBC Music commission of 2025.
• I wrote treatments and toplines, designed pitch decks using Canva and verbally pitched development projects to commissioners at BBC, ITV, C4, C5, Sky, UKTV and Discovery.
• I established new relationships with agents and secured meetings and project interest with A-list talent.
• I developed and pitched an entertainment format to UKTV, secured interest from A-list talent and led development meetings.

As the sole development team member between June 2023 - May 2024, I was responsible for writing and designing all pitch decks on Powerpoint and Canva, conducting all research projects, editing sizzle reels using Premiere and preparing pitching materials using Canva and Photoshop. I wrote succinct, enticing billings for Angels of the North Series 4 on the BBC iPlayer.

• I offered script editing, treatment writing, proofreading and scriptnote services for film and TV writers.
• I built up a freelance client base, engaging repeat clients and working to multiple deadlines simultaneously.

I wrote the festival programme billing, synopsis, and copy for the Sundance Film Festival premiere of feature Knocking (2021).

Trainee Script Editor | The Dumping Ground Series 8 - CBBC

(2019-04 - 2019-11)

I was the sole script editor on The Dumping Ground S08E23 'Far From the Tree'. This involved seeing the episode through from initial brainstorms and storylining to shooting script, giving scriptnotes to the writer, and rewriting lines of dialogue and reworking scenes during the shoot.

• I worked under the script editor and producer, preparing production sides for each day of shooting, taking notes during writers' rooms, contributing to story meetings and writing script notes for writers.
• I read spec scripts sent by writers and agencies, writing coverage and suggesting writers for interviews with executives.
• I was tasked with leading the animation department, organising meetings with the storyboard artist, illustrator and animators, giving notes, writing short scripted sequences using Final Draft and creating schedules in Excel.

Stand-Up Comedy - Freelance

I regularly perform paid stand-up comedy on pro line-ups across the UK, including paid appearances at The Stand comedy club and the 2000 Trees Festival. I am very experienced in public speaking, confidently able to engage large crowds.
