About

Since graduating in July 2024, I have not been out of a job at all, my strong work ethos has taken me to construction labouring, and I have been successfully selected for courses such as scaffolding, working at heights and my level 1 carpentry and joinery. I work extremely hard each day making concrete mixes, building stone walls and labouring at different sites, previously around Scotland and now in Leicestershire working on restoring the downstairs flooring after the floods in January 2025. My immediate career aim is to continue my carpentry journey.

I don't shy away from hard and precise work and would become a valued asset of any team.

Maintenance team at Preci-Spark (2025-06 – Present)

Since I joined I have been at one of the director's house restoring the house after the bad flooding in January 2025.

Digging up flooring down to the foundations and building it all back up to the screed level and ready for plasters and tilers to come in after me. This meant working to deadlines
Carrying out tasks, working to precise measurements, levels and drawings provided by the director

Social Media Campaign Manager at John Evans (2020-06 – 2020-10)

Being on the committee of a local campaign against a proposed development gave me exposure to coordinating a robust and fact-based objection to a real environmental issue. My role was to coordinate and articulate the environmental and human impacts through a planned social media campaign canvassing opinion from the neighbourhood.
