I have been working in a development team for an investment company for over a year.

I have a wide experience of development technologies - I am confident working in backend and frontend development with experience in .NET/C#, Python and Javascript (Including React and Node). I have vast experience working with data, having used numerous document based search services and database frameworks including MySQL, PostGreSQL and mariaDB. I am also capable of implementing proficient Devops solutions, being able to utilize Git, Docker, Kubernetes and release pipelines to deploy projects efficiently.

Junior Software Developer at Blackfinch Investments Ltd (Sept 2021 - Present):

I undertook the role just after I finished university, beginning work on a backend project using .NET to create and manage a searchable index of live data and present it to the sales team.

I also worked on devops, reworking and migrating legacy repositories, release pipelines and kubernetes architecture from Google Cloud to Microsoft Azure.

Recently, I have completed a project migrating the search service used on Blackfinch’s admin system from elastic enterprise search to azure cognitive search while maintaining custom functionality.

Throughout, I helped manage and remedy any technical requests that came through to the development team. Such as, data requests and updating live electronic application forms.
