Harry Wilks

I’m a hardworking and practical person who enjoys figuring out how things work and learning new skills. I’m interested in engineering and automation because I like working with machinery, solving problems and understanding how things can be improved. My experience in plumbing, construction and working in a busy pub has taught me to be reliable, work well with others and get stuck into whatever task I’m given. I’m keen to learn, develop my skills and build a career in engineering.

I briefly worked for KBM plumbing and heating as experience and while working there I assisted plumbers with general plumbing and heating tasks, including preparing tools and materials, carrying equipment, observing installation and repair work, and keeping the work area clean and organised. And I Gained practical experience of working safely on-site and following instructions.

My current employment is a pot wash job in The HalfWay House pub/restaurant in this job I am responsible for washing and cleaning dishes, glasses, and kitchen equipment, keeping the kitchen and washing-up area clean and organised, disposing of waste, and supporting the kitchen team during busy periods. Worked efficiently under pressure while maintaining good hygiene and cleanliness standards.
