I completed my Level 3 City & Guilds Advanced Technical Diploma in Plumbing and heating at Grimsby College. I had also previously completed my BPEC Level 1 and 2 Diploma in Plumbing at Lincoln College. In my Level 1 qualification, I obtained distinction on a couple of specific modules.
In my Level 2 qualification, I obtained full credits for each module. In level 3 I obtained a double distinction for Theory and Practical Synoptic. I have been working for Simpsons Building Contractors at the South Ormsby Hall redevelopment project since April 2025 to April 2026 as a labourer and have learnt many site skills.
This 1 year contract has now ended as the project has moved into a different phase. I am now looking to secure full-time work as a plumber, but I am currently working for Clifford Plumbing and Heating doing daily emergency call outs, on a commission basis arrangement.

I’ve undertaken a work experience program with Airkool, a plumbing and heating company based in Hull.
Work experience - DOMESTIC MAINTENANCE SOLUTIONS - Andover, Hampshire; Chiswick, London

I’ve worked alongside Chris Morgan, the owner, daily assisting him with plumbing jobs booked in the diary for those 2 weeks. We travelled into Chiswick, London daily. During these 2 weeks we did bath tap changes, boiler servicing, I assisted him with boiler installations, flue gas analysis, gas soundness testing, Landlord gas safety checks, and we fitted a new shower in a domestic property and laid new pipework to it. I received an excellent report for college.
Labouring tasks - NEW MILLS PROPERTIES - Grimsby

I have assisted New Mills Properties in Grimsby on a part-time basis, some weekends, conducting labouring tasks for property refurbishments on their investment properties. This involves ripping out kitchens, bathrooms and garden and household clearances. During this time, I also conducted work experience with a local plumbing company that does a lot of direct work with this company.
