· My PhD thesis was under the title of “The role of miRNA in Oral Lichen Planus (OLP) Pathogenesis”.
· The research was lab-based study in which I gained experience in human cell culture, RNA extraction, RT-PCR, qPCR, IHC and target genes detection.
· Trained on NanoString and Bioanalyzer technology.
· In this project the relationship was preform between miRNA and cytokines as well as with compatible target gene that related to OLP disease.
· PhD was under supervision of Prof Marco Carrozzo and Dr. Andreas Werner
2014 – 2016: MSc Diagnostic Oral Pathology, University of Sheffield, Sheffield
· The course gave me critical systematic understanding of oral pathological conditions that require diagnosis by histopathological methods.
· I have knowledge and understanding of the common laboratory methods used to prepare oral diagnostic material for histopathological examination and the main research tools and methods used to advance the practice of diagnostic oral pathology.
· I have a high level of competence in diagnosing common and significant oral pathological lesions and conditions.
