Senior finance executive and former Big 4 Equity Partner with 15+ years of deep expertise across the international energy sector — upstream, downstream, energy trading, renewables and energy transition. Proven track record advising Boards, Audit Committees and CFOs of major listed energy companies on the most complex financial reporting, governance and control matters — bringing commercial judgement, technical rigour and executive presence to high-stakes decisions. Led a 600-person, $50m global programme as senior partner on the Shell plc Group audit — one of the largest and most operationally complex financial oversight mandates in the global energy sector.
Direct experience of large-scale finance transformation: led independent financial reporting oversight of a multi-year ERP implementation and operating model restructuring programme, encompassing ~20% headcount reduction and large-scale offshoring to shared service centres. Capital markets experience across a wide transaction range — from $10m bond issuances to ~$10bn — including RCF refinancings, project finance structures and equity capital markets transactions. Delivered £2m+ annual efficiency savings as LEAN Kaizen Lead, applying structured process redesign across a complex, multi-jurisdictional programme.
People leadership at scale: four years as People Lead for EY London's energy audit department with accountability for ~250 professionals, achieving the highest engagement scores in London Audit. PCAOB accreditation; extensive expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, SEC reporting, SOX/ICFR and Foreign Private Issuer obligations — particularly relevant for US-listed or dual-listed portfolio companies.
