I am currently looking for work in support work. I would prefer part time but am willing to take on full time work. I would like contracted hours. I am looking to work in bexhill or surrounding area of up to 6 miles, I am a driver with a full uk driving licence and car.

I have had long term experience in the care setting; personal and professional. I believe this will help accomplish the work I wish to embark on. I have learnt how to help those that are vulnerable, create and achieve goals that they perhaps felt were unreachable alone.

Goals including self-care, finance, education, socialising and many more. I am currently studying towards a degree in forensic psychology which I feel will help me understand and empathise with those who have made some wrong choices in life and I would like to offer non-judgemental help to encourage a different way of looking at life and perhaps changing the choices into more positive ones. I have completed modules that allow me to work in one-on-one integrative therapy as well as soon I will have a diploma in counselling and psychotherapy which will enable me to be a qualified counsellor.

I have undergone my own personal therapy, which is a requirement in the field of counselling and under the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) ethical guidelines which I am a member of. Having my own therapy has helped me become more self-aware which in turn creates knowledge of my own strengths and weaknesses. It has also helped me achieve freedom from my own difficulties.

I feel I am naturally drawn to the role of caring for others and have no doubt I will have high reward from helping others through their difficulties.

I have worked mostly in the care or support sector throughout my working life.

I am a trained counsellor with 100 work placement hours, I am studying forensic psychology BA (hons)
