About

A dynamic and engaging Nutritionist who is passionate about nutrition and health. A previous career as a Family Lawyer ensures a professional, efficient and organised outlook. I bring to Nutrition excellent communication and research skills and a natural ability to build rapport with others to create positive relationships. I am approachable, focused and a committed team player with a strong desire to learn, succeed and progress.

Experience

After qualifying in 2017, I established my own nutritional therapy clinical practice seeing clients for one-to-one consultations both in person and online. In addition, I have provided presentations and workshop for corporate practices, cookery demonstrations, 28-day online health and nutrition group programmes with a focus on establishing healthy and sustainable eating habits, produced some published articles and made a TV appearance discussing school dinners and childhood obesity.

I also worked at Breast Cancer Haven in Hereford and Solihull as a Nutritionist from 2018 until 2021 when the charity closed. I undertook individual consultations with clients and delivered a monthly two-hour group session.

In 2021, I joined a small clinical practice with two other practitioners and worked under this umbrella until March 2025. I supported over two hundred clients who mostly have multiple diagnoses and polypharmacy. I regularly use functional tests and have good working relationships with numerous laboratories.

I participated in weekly team meetings to discuss client cases, was an avid mentee and always ensured that I work within my remit and referred onwards to appropriate medical professionals where there was a clinical need. A lot of my work centred around empowering clients to help them achieve their health goals in a supportive and compassionate way.

I am AfN registered and fully insured.
