I am a highly competent data strategy, management and governance leader. I have 20+ years data experience in a world class global pharma company and an innovative AI drug discovery organisation. My extensive leadership encompasses developing business-aligned data strategies and frameworks spanning the enterprise data lifecycle.

My experience includes proactive management of a multi-million pound data acquisition budget, transformational business change management and stakeholder engagement. I've demonstrated effective data licensing expertise for third-party scientific data including negotiating text & data mining rights. I have developed strategic vendor relationships and created a data catalogue alongside devising enterprise governance policies and procedures.

My external leadership includes past President of the Pharma-Documentation-Ring (P-D-R), a network of data professionals from 25+ pharma companies. I have also actively contributed to the Corporate Advisory Board for a major Scientific, Technical & Medical publisher.

I am a strong people-focused leader with excellent communication skills across all levels of the organisation. I have extensive experience in matrix and direct line management, talent development, coaching and mentoring.
