I am a 24 year old and have just finished a Masters Degree at the University of Birmingham in History. Whilst studying, I worked as a Pharmacist dispenser at Boots. Before studying, I spent two years working as an administrator at a renewable energy company that was based in Birmingham and so I have plenty of experience in admin and understand the challenges that need to be met.
I am based in Worcester where I have lived since leaving my undergraduate course in 2021 but want to relocate to Cardiff, the city where I was born. My passions include, history, music, football, cricket and politics. I would describe myself as friendly with a good sense of humour who loves working with lots of people.
I am also extremely dedicated to any job I am given who strives to complete work to the best of my ability.
As previously mentioned, I worked for two years at Bryt Energy, a renewable energy company based in Birmingham in the Sales team. My job involved creating energy contracts that would be sent to TPI's who would then pass them on to clients. The job involved having a big attention to detail to make sure that the contracts were in line with market activity with no spelling errors on them.
I would work with account managers so I knew what to prioritise. When contracts were signed I then had to send them to the company directors for the energy rates to be locked in. I also had to log potential business onto our IT system to see if they would pass credit and thus have a contract sent to them.
I would also man the email inbox and take telephone calls. I then left and took a gap in employment to study for my masters but returned to work in April this year to work as a Pharmacist dispenser at Boots. My role involves picking out peoples medication in accordance with their prescription.
I then have to dispense the labels and check the amount in correct whilst working with the pharmacist. I then have to give out the medication and take payment if necessary. In addition to this, I have to sell over the counter medication and give advice if necessary, such as asking the customer if they are on any medication that could affect it.
Whilst taking my undergraduate degree, I also worked in admin for the NHS.
I have recently left the University of Birmingham where I am awaiting my masters in History. I have a 2:1 degree in History and Politics at the University of Exeter. I have a three A- Levels from Worcester Sixth Form College (A, B, C) at eight GCSE's including a C in Maths and English Literature and a B in English Language.
