Henry Sheekey

I am a reliable and hardworking undergraduate history student with experience in both hospitality and fast food industries. Alongside my university studies, I worked as a barista at Starbucks and continue to work as a crew Member at Mcdonalds, developing excellent customer service, teamwork, communication and time management skills in fast paced environments. I am confident in working under pressure, whilst maintaining high standards of hygiene and organisation and delivering a positive experience for customers.

Previous work experience in finance and engineering has also strengthened my precision, problem solving ability and adaptability. I am looking for opportunities where I can continue to develop professionally while making a positive contribution to a team.

In 2022 I applied for a work experience placement in a Financial Planning company in London. I gained a basic understanding of saving money and investments. I shadowed financial planners to understand better the decision making processes within a corporate environment. I developed skills in critical thinking and attention to detail, which are valuable in understanding complex problem solving.
