I'm proud to share my experience, I have completed a master’s degree program in Film Studies at the University of Leeds. I have built a solid foundation in film art and industry, independent project management, and screenplay development. Prior to this, I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Film and Television Directing from Liaoning Normal University, where I honed my skills in project development, non-linear editing, and drama writing.
So, I've been deeply engaged in the arts industry for many years and am confident in my abilities.
In terms of my work experience, I held the position of Curatorial Assistant at Da Xiang Pictures. This job took me involved in the preparation of film curation events, including online pre-promotions and offline receptions. During this process, I gained in-depth exposure to both niche literary films and documentaries, as well as an understanding of the development of the film industry in Northeast China.
This experience not only enriched my film knowledge but also developed my organizational and teamwork skills.
I also worked as a curator at the Creative Film and Video Studio at Liaoning Normal University. It was a school internship, but the audience of creators I worked with was geared towards the entire city of Dalian, including teachers from various universities, government workers, and small, medium, and large businesses in Dalian. My main tasks consisted of helping student work reach a wider audience and assisting in the organization of non-profit curatorial events.
I have been successful in finding investors for unfinished student works and promoting student coursework to rural areas, contributing to the dissemination and development of film culture. I also had the privilege of being involved in the organization of the HUPAN Film Festival in Dalian in the role of Producer. As part of the organizers of the festival, I assisted in receiving film entries from different universities and was involved in the management of a small film festival, which allowed me to build up entry-level management skills and organizational abilities.
