Discover potential of energy savings by studying building configuration, implementing energy saving measures by using AI, machine-learning and big data. Over ten years’ experience in property management, project management, planning, scheduling, budgeting cost, quality control and site supervision of properties and building sites including the facilities management of building services installation.
As an Energy Manager within the ESG division at CBRE, I promote Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles to various stakeholders, including clients, Operations teams, and Project teams. I assist in preparing the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) for the Royal College of General Practitioners. From a social perspective, we participated in rebuilding a park in collaboration with an organization called Playground.
Regarding governance, we support clients in complying with DEC and TM44 regulations. Recently, we have also helped circulate information about the Simpler Recycling Regulation, which will come into effect on March 31, 2025.
While preparing energy audits for my clients, I budget project costs and estimate the return on investment (ROI) for various measures and projects. I also liaise with clients and Operations teams to ensure that proposed measures align with key performance indicators (KPIs). We consolidate all consumption data and prepare slides for presentation at monthly management meetings and quarterly reports.
I hold a Master of Science in Civil and Architectural Engineering (ECCTIS: RQF Level 7 / SCQF Level 11 / CQFW Level 7) and a Bachelor of Engineering in Building Services Engineering (ECCTIS: RQF Level 6 / SCQF Level 10 / CQFW Level 6). Additionally, I am a certified energy manager under the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) and a Display Energy Certificate (DEC) assessor. I am also a member of ASHRAE.
