Leading the day-to-day running of a busy retail store and managing a large team of staff members across departments to achieve all targets / KPIs in line with expectations.
Motivating staff teams to deliver results and supporting Team Leaders by driving a ‘high performance’ team culture.
Keeping an up-to-date knowledge of Ecco Shoes’ retail processes and communicating changes to staff teams.
Maintaining a focus on staffing costs, energy usage, loss prevention and cost control in line with budgets.
Administering cash and stock loss prevention procedures as well as security policies to prevent losses in store.
Supporting campaigns for marketing and promotion whilst maintaining awareness of local competitor activity to adapt approaches in line with senior management direction / guidelines.
Maintaining retail shop floor and staff standards in line with Ecco Shoes’ policies and brand guidelines.
Undertaking effective workforce shift scheduling and rota creation based on previous / forecasted trends, to ensure sufficient staff coverage to cope with demand.
Recruiting, training and developing staff to provide excellent customer service and achieve business targets.
Chairing regular staff performance one-to-one reviews to provide guidance and support individual development.
Engaging with staff and customers on a daily basis and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and service.
Undertaking regular checks within the store to ensure all legal requirements are met, including those relating to H&S.
Optimising store performance through continuous evaluation of existing processes, and identifying sales and customer service.
