Hope Smith

My previous work experiences are from various different fields such as being a sales advisor to a team member. Also, I have volunteered at the Hounslow Urban Farm for two years which included: cleaning animals’ habitats, changing the animal’s waters, helping feed the animals, doing encounters for the public, answering any sort of questions they may have, and much more. My experience talking to members of the public from all age groups whilst volunteering at the farm helps me to easily answer any queries that customers may have.

I have gained a teaching assistant qualification and training as I volunteered my free time during school hours to help out as a teaching assistant for Year 9 English where I taught the whole class for short periods and taught children and children with SEN one-to-one. I participated in table host training for a world cafe event hosted by the company mutual gain: I participated successfully in a world cafe after being trained for the role. From this qualification, I gained an understanding of how to listen to the public and pick out relevant information and work as a team to set up the cafe with my colleagues this gave me team and communication skills that can be universally transferable.

I possess A-Levels in History, Art, and English Literature which I am currently studying for my degree.
