PhD in pure mathematics, specialising in abstract algebra and representation theory.

Experience programming in Python, R, Haskell, and in producing and communicating clear arguments, both technical and non-technical.

I am looking to transition my career into the financial services industry, particularly within the quantitative side, to be able to take my expertise further and contribute to the industry. I believe that working in finance will be a great challenge ripe with opportunities for growth and for honing and applying my problem-solving skills and collaborative work experience.

• Conducted independent research into the representation theory of a certain special family of Hamiltonian Lie algebras (H(2r,n) and their filtered deformations), which only exist over fields of positive characteristic. Employed a variety of computational and theoretical tools to classify the module structure of all such p-representations. Used the computer algebra system GAP to assist in conjecture, verification and low-characteristic and low-dimensional settings.
