Technical Adviser

I have been at my current employer, Bradbury Hamilton, for over the past 10 years and have worked my way from Administrator, to Paraplanning and onto Technical Adviser. I have been Technical Adviser for the past 5 years and have helped manage the in-house portfolio service, support the company’s client bank of 600 and wrote suitability reports for new business where needed.
The company has recently been purchased and the client bank is in the process of being split between three Financial Advisers. As such my role is being made less significant within the company and being reduced to essentially a Paraplanner writing the reports, and as such I am seeking a new opportunity due to the uncertainty of my role.
I have extensive qualifications and experience in financial services and require two AF exams before I am Chartered, I intend to sit AF4 in March.
The client base that I have serviced over these years have been broad and extensive with work being carried out in pension planning, investments such as ISAs and GIAs along with inheritance tax planning utilising trusts and whole of life policies. During my time at Bradbury Hamilton we have also recommended high risk investments such as EIS, VCTs and SEIS. My role has consisted of conducting client meetings, going through annual reviews with clients and bringing in new clients to the business.
Thank you for your time and for allowing me to present my background and skills in order to be considered for the position of Financial Advisor.
