Registered Adult Nurse currently working as a Band 5 Staff Nurse within Acute Medicine at Pinderfields Hospital. I enjoy working in a busy acute environment and have experience caring for patients with a wide range of medical needs, prioritising care, recognising deterioration and responding to changing clinical situations. Before qualifying, I worked within the NHS as a Clinical Support Worker and phlebotomist alongside completing my Adult Nursing degree, which gave me experience across a range of acute and community settings including Intensive Care, Emergency Care, Respiratory Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and District Nursing.

Alongside nursing, I am a Squirrels Section Lead and volunteer at County level as a First Aider and First Response Trainer with The Scouts. I also hold a CMI Level 5 Award in Management and Leadership. These roles have given me experience in leadership, teaching, organisation and supporting others.

I am keen to continue developing clinically, build on my experience and take on further responsibility as my nursing career progresses.
