Operations/Senior Planner/Lead Planner - SMART Home Charge Response EPR - Peterborough

My first role was in operations answering calls and booking emergency electricians appointments for people who have had fire, flood, or any other electrical fault on behalf of our clients. I was taught to be a senior planner, planning the most cost effective and efficient routes for our engineers in a set region. I then became lead planner orchestrating routes for all engineers with the help of my team.

I also helped with bringing new clients, assisting with recruitment for engineers, doing system sweeps to ensure no jobs were left open on our portal. I also had to consult with our vetted sub-contractors for invoice enquiries and assistance with our jobs.

My role was answering calls to employers and members who had queries about their workplace pension. I had to ensure I remained calm when dealing with upset callers. I was also given the task of opening letters and marking returned letters as gone. I also had to ensure to follow with strict guidelines whilst as I was dealing with pensions, I made sure I did not advise members or employers, but I was offering help and assistance. My role at Toby Carvery was front of house, I showed people to their tables and took their orders, I closed the restaurant, cleaned, and ensured all stock was replenished. I also helped in the kitchen making starters and desserts. I assisted on the bar making sure customers received the correct drinks in a timely fashion. I was often told to oversee big parties and was given the largest section.
