Overview: The medical internship I undertook included 6 rotations in the medical fields of Rheumatology, OBGYN, paediatric oncohematology, general medicine, general surgery as well as anaesthesiology.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in taking patient medical history and managing clinical patients and observe medical team discussions regarding patient treatment plans.
• Participate in morning rounding on patients.
• Perform patient examinations and where appropriate assist in basic medical procedures such as wound care, injections and simple diagnostic tests.
