I am a pharmacy student at the global university UCL. I am also a photographer and retail assistant at the London Eye as I love socialising with customers and tourists. I have experience in retail and customer service through my job which has honed my communication skills.
I currently work in the photography and sales department of the London Eye. Through my experience in photography at a tourist attraction, I have picked up on photography skills that ensure a good photo for customers to buy, even in stressful conditions such as cold, rain, heat or busy half terms and summers.
I have gained experience in retail and how to upsell photo packages to customers by utilising communication skills and building a rapport with customers, for example by asking them how their day was and ensuring they had a nice experience. I have months of experience working in an outdoor and very busy visitor attraction, with over 10,000 customers per day with long hours. This has given me time management skills on how to work efficiently, even under stressful conditions.
Through my pharmacy degree I have honed my skills of being able to work under a team as I often work in hospitals and pharmacies under a multidisciplinary team. I am able to take on extra roles if a colleague needs help and am always happy to listen and help.
I am hoping to further develop these skills.
I am currently a first year university student studying pharmacy at UCL. My most recent education was my A Levels in which I got 3 As in Biology, Chemistry and History from Claremont High School (Harrow, Kent).
I have 10 GCSEs majority of which are 8s and 9s (A*).
