I am a highly motivated and dedicated University Graduate Dance BA student seeking a local working opportunity to support my transition moving back home, saving to travel all whilst working towards gaining experience within the professional performing arts industry. Throughout my University timeline, I have actively worked within a pub restaurant setting and am seeking employment local to the E11 area from mid August.

• Waitressing in restaurant sections of pub
• Taking orders, Completing table check ins and upselling additional drinks / desserts
• Utilising Yumpingo review system effectively and consistently to gather accurate feedback helpful to the senior team members and kitchen staff
• Running drinks and foods orders to tables
• Working on bar serving drinks, cleaning and polishing glasses
• Working on bar as dispense, completing order tickets
• Worked opening and closing shifts completing cleaning tasks [mopping, sweeping, cleaning drip trays, renovating glasses e.t.c]
• Completing bottle ups and replenishing stock so pub is always prepared for customers
• Developing leadership skills through supporting the training of newly hired staff members, pricked this responsibility as am a valued and longstanding team member
• Hosting, effectively and appropriately greeting customers and supporting them to their tables, delivering initial menu information and problem solving any table queries
• Taking reservations, in person and over the phone, utilising the pub iPad system, accommodating for customers and ensuring visitor retention to the business

Performance - Solstice/Equinox End of year University Curriculum showings - Kingston University

Multiple 3minute technique piece curated by lecturers / guest teachers in varying styles, for example, Contemporary - Hiphop - House - Afrobeats - Coupé-Décalé. Performing movement supported by theoretical contextual learning and historical study to further embody movement and understanding of the particular style.

Performer - Kingston University Dance Society

Performances at inter-university competitions, in Contemporary and Hiphop categories. Students led choreographed pieces, trained over a period of months to compete in the new year. Been a part of top 3 placed teams, multiple wins.

Performer - Set4Set Competition - Perspective Training Company - Greenwood Theatre

Selected for the final competition team, attended numerous intense rehearsals in a short period of time leading up to the competition date. Performing at Greenwood Theatre in front of a sold out audience against the established Funk Of The Future team with same music set. Winning this particular match and placing 2nd overall.

Choreographer - Creative Practice Module Choreographic Assessment - Kingston University

Personal led choreographic project, inviting dancers to work alongside me to curate and share my creative vision producing a 4-6 minute piece. Leading rehearsals, teaching choreography and movement directing through a range of workshops. With the content not only being relational to movement vocabulary but increasing the comfortability with each other and a sensitive performance topic.

Production Assistant - Assisting University Arts productions team within theatre setting - Kingston University Arts productions team

Intensive working process supporting the production team on the Dance Company showing. Including working collaboratively with a small group of fellow course mates as well being alongside the recognised staff members. Completing safety checks [safety inductions, registration etc.], constructing settings with produced materials [hanging these providing stage depth/ texture], FOH ticketing support and eventual striking of the set to reset the space for upcoming events.

Through this process, I too experienced working with high quality equipment and processes relevant to theatre and stage management.

Studio Coordinator - Events Management - MoveIT Dance Show

Volunteer role across all 3 days of the event as Studio Coordinator. Attended initial interviews and health and safety briefings in order to secure the role and support other volunteers and staff throughout the schedule. Supporting the smooth running of classes and workshops, managing studio schedules, ensuring sessions stayed on time and coordinating crowd flow during these change-over periods.

Utilising programmed scanners authenticating tickets and resolving any issues that arose with due diligence. Alongside this, I was assisting industry professional instructors within the studio space with setting up technical equipment such as music and microphones. Developed strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, not only within my team of fellow staff but too in a customer service aspect.

Attending debriefs after each day had finished, discussing any quarrels and workshopping ideas to ease these issues for the following events days.

Teaching - 10 week After school club programme - Primary Education Setting

Solo lead teaching based in primary education with age ranges between 4-10, conducting Hiphop based drills and choreography appropriate to inspire students. Interactive game play as warmup and stretches to ready their bodies for dancing and activate their muscles and minds after a day at school. Responsible for a group of around 14 children, mainly from a Japanese speaking community and therefore had to adapt to make my teaching more accessible and inclusive for everyone to learn, understand and have fun.

Writing - Poetic writing pieces - Kingston University

Reflective forward writing during rehearsals towards completed tasks depicting felt physical and emotional experiences of raw dance movement experiences. Paid work contributing to a fellow coursemates choreographic final piece, assisting theme projection and presentation. Recorded my voice speaking this poem, which was utilised at the beginning of their performance accompanying dance movement and narrative depictions.

Filming / Editing - Dance on screen, Collaborative Short film project - Kingston University

Working on curating dance movement considering locations, narrative theme and camera placements [angles, height, lighting] alongside other coursemates. Considering choreography, storyboard design and production as well as editing techniques to complete a polished and professional piece named "281". Utilised not only for course specific assessment but uploaded onto social media pages as content.

School work experience - OFCOM

Virtual work experience which included several Microsoft Teams sessions within all the different departments that are a part of OFCOM as well as an introduction to the work they do and the Young Apprentice scheme the media regulator offers. The experience included a presentation task where I was allocated a group to whom I would have daily sessions with and at the end of the week recorded a presentation to display to the other participants.

• Advising volunteer assistant referees about what to look out for when they run the line [applies to under 11s and 12s football]
• Encourage feedback and applying this to build consistency

Assistant Coach - West Essex Football Club

Under 10s girls football assistant coaching role. Supporting head coach during training sessions and travelling to games and tournaments.
